American Politics has Become a Schoolyard of Dumb Adults.

You know why In the Bible Jesus said to be like little children? It’s because little children do not discriminate.

In our political system the left and the right both insist that they are making the best decisions. And the people that support the left and right are the same. They both think they are right and when shit hits the fan they blame it on the other side.

It’s Obama’s policy that got us here or it’s Trumps poor decisions that got us here ETc., etc., etc.,

What I see is that no side is taking ownership and that both sides refuse to think they are wrong.

The left wing media vs. the right wing media… the media is also mixed up in this whole mess and is also partially to blame.

It’s obvious on Facebook. We see friends arguing and debating. Friends unfriending. We see adults being cruel arguing and finding ways to try to one up the other. Always working in getting the last word to prove they themselves are right to belittle a friend. And people do so candidly. Would they do the same offline face to face?

I think it is silly. Politics have divided us as a nation, as friends as people.

And I have to say that both sides are to blame. Both sides are guilty. Both sides can’t get along. That’s why you are seeing America in its current state.

“One nation under God” even in this pandemic both sides still can’t get along for the good of the people. And that is what’s going to kill Americans.

Because the left and right can’t get their shit together and agree to policies that will help the people. It is the people who will suffer and pay in the end.

Differences aside. Their is no room for hate. We shouldn’t judge one another on our beliefs. We shouldn’t make assumptions in character of people because of their political belief.

Michael Jackson said it best. “It’s all about love.”

And when people start loving each other. It’s when people can heal.

If you have some extra toilet paper, masks or hand sanitizer pass it on to a neighbor regardless of their political affiliation.

Start looking for solutions to work together. Let go of hubris.

It’s only together America as a nation can move forward. United we stand, divided we fall.
