Saitama SaitaMask Event Highlights – SaitaChain!?!?
This is a simple recap of what I was able to find out from the SaitaMask event in Vegas. I may have missed a few things here and there but this is the information I was able to gather. You could also watch the whole event here courtesy Jake Gagain’s YouTube channel but the video is a bit all over the place.
In 2022 from Q1-Q2 we will see Saita payments, SaitaSafe a hardware wallet and Saita education roll out. I think the Saitasafe hardware announcement was pretty cool it’s still in prototype phase but looking forward to learning more about this hardware wallet.
In the later half through Q3-Q4 Saitama will ramp up its NFT projects by releasing the SaitaMarket and SaitaMaker. My understanding is that these will be features as part of SaitaWallet. SaitaSocial will also roll out. Seems like a place for the Wolfpack community to connect.
In 2023 Saitama will also start putting together its own blockchain called SaitaChain. Not much details but seems like it’s an l2 blockchain built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. Would like to here more details on the but that’s not until 2023. We have a ways to go.
There are two games in development. These will be play to earn games. They shared an outline story of one of the games called Wolfcaster. My honest opinion is that they should work on one game at a time. Two games at once is stretching your team. Focus on one game make it epic. I want quality not quantity.
Lilly finance partnership with Saitama in the medical field. Seems to be quite broad but I’ve linked the site and you can check it out for more details. It’s differnt then any other project out there but it is a unique partnership. Imagine paying for your doctors visit with crypto. That would be great. It will be interesting to see how this partnership will impact the medical field.
During the even we saw a major sell off of Saitama tokens. It was a fall from .00000014 down to .000000065. Yeah, paperhands decided to get out. But not to worry the Wolfpack bulls took the opportunity and bought the dip and we easily recovered back to .00000011. That was a nice recovery.
I don’t recall any news on new exchange listings. There was a new listing on Poloniex. Anything you might have heard about Binance or Coinbase now is all speculative and I don’t get my hopes up when I see that stuff. You shouldn’t fall for that bs either. It would be great to be listed on Binance. However, let’s wait for a more official announcement before we get all excited.
Saitama doing its thing. Lots of announcements and a very ambitious roadmap. Let’s see how the next two years play out. We got diamond hands let’s go! If I missed anything please comment below.
